An Unrivaled Education

As you navigate your career path, you will make many important decisions along the way—and perhaps none will be as influential as your education.

Consider just a few of the reasons students choose the INI. You gain access to the superior faculty at Carnegie Mellon and its Top Ten engineering college, more than a few sound connections to leaders in your field and the ability to customize a path of study to fit your goals. With a post-graduation placement rate that's unbeatable, history has shown, time and time again, the INI is the right choice for graduate studies.

The 144 units of the INI's graduate programs are traditionally completed over the course of two academic years. Options for accelerating this schedule may be available. All students are required to successfully complete an INI- approved internship. During that time, the INI delivers an unrivaled education in technology that blends core curricular strengths in the business and policy aspects of communication networks, systems and services. As a result, admission to the INI programs is highly sought after by top students with a desire to become leaders who possess a rare blend of business acumen and policy insight.

The INI can provide you with plenty of details to help you through your decision and the admission process, including Carnegie Mellon's rankings, examples of student research, financial information and more. Explore our website and find and INI degree program that suits your aspirations.

If you would like to contact us, feel free to email or call our department. The INI faculty and staff will answer your questions about the programs, our research, student life and the achievements of our alumni.
