March 16 Deadline: Grace Hopper Poster Competition
This year's Grace Hopper conference will take place October 1-4, 2008 in Keystone, Colorado. INI students are encouraged to enter submissions for the technical poster session. Please refer to the guidelines for submitting a poster.

Network Connection and Resource Fair

WINI will run a booth and provide resources about cybersecurity at this regional event for educational professionals in math and science.


SciTech Festival

WINI will run a booth at the Carnegie Science Center for the SciTech Festival, an interactive display of various works in science and technology for school children, parents and teachers. WINI will demonstrate Carnegie Cadets: The MySecureCyberspace Game.


WINI Halloween Party

As a Halloween celebration, WINI is organizing a party on Saturday, the 3rd of November from 6 pm onwards. It is a costume party for all MS18s and MS19s. (Girls and guys both!) Come dressed and enjoy with everyone.


WINI Financial Seminar

After the hectic exams schedule, it is now time to look into your wallets. WINI will be organizing a financial seminar on Wednesday, October 24 from 5:00 pm onwards at DEC@Henry Street. We will have a representative from PNC Bank to advise us in managing our finances for the future. After all, “Money Matters!”


Movie Night: September 14!

WINI invites all MS18 & MS19 (women and men) to come to movie night on Friday, September 14, 2007 starting at 4:30 PM at the DEC@Henry Street. Pizza and soft drinks served. The movie selection will be determined during the 9/7 meeting.


Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing

The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing 2007 will be held October 17-20, 2007, and will be co-located with and bridge the Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing conference, being held October 14-17, in Orlando, Florida.
