Ranking Fifth Among the Best Engineering Schools

U.S. News and World Report released the annual rankings of graduate programs in engineering. Carnegie Mellon's College of Engineering ranked fifth among the best engineering schools, rising two places from seventh place a year ago.

Among the specialties ranked within engineering, Carnegie Mellon earned third place for computer engineering, seventh place for electrical engineering, seventh place for environmental engineering and tenth place for civil engineering.
