Consistent hard work and putting in the extra effort is appreciated in all walks of life, and Carnegie Mellon University's College of Engineering (CIT) realizes that these qualities deserve to be recognized. In order to honor those CIT staff members who show extreme dedication to their work, the College of Engineering holds the annual CIT staff awards lunch and ceremony.
This
year's ceremony and lunch, which the entire CIT staff was invited to
attend, was held this afternoon in the Singleton Room in Roberts
Hall. To determine who would be recognized, staff members were
encouraged beforehand to nominate their colleagues for the CIT Staff
Recognition Award, Burritt Education Award and Rookie Award. Some staff
members were recognized for their length of service, including the five
members
of the INI staff who are listed below.
