Looking Ahead: CyLab Research

This week's article in CyLab Chronicles describes the highly active research conducted at the labs of Carnegie Mellon CyLab, the university's interdisciplinary cybersecurity team. In a time of economic uncertainty, many are looking to these areas of information technology for signs of hope and progress.

In the article, CyLab Distinguished Fellow Richard Power explains how "CyLab faculty and graduate students are working on seven research thrusts, and along seven more cross-cutting research thrusts, in an audacious program aimed at harnessing the future to secure the present; and, of course, in the process, they are contributing to renewed prosperity and opportunity through capacity building in the areas of technology, personnel and industry."
