A "Really Cool" Lab

The Data Center Observatory (DCO) at Carnegie Mellon rated in the top ten "really cool university networking labs" by Network World. The DCO accommodates research in issues related to large-scale data storage and provides hands-on insight into data center operations, as well as stores data for researchers on campus. Network World gives details about the lab's features and specifications and names some of the projects that are currently active at DCO. Other universities included in the rankings were University of New Hampshire, Rutgers, Iowa State, Stanford and Georgia Tech.
