November 30, 2008

Featured in the November edition of Information Security Magazine, Carnegie Mellon CyLab gains attention for important research its conducting on the information security front. Biometrics, insider threats, and the human element are three topics profiled through interviews with CyLab researchers at work on current projects.

"Labs such as this one are the heart of security research, and much of the work goes publicly unheralded," writes Michael S. Mimoso, who authored the article and presents an overview of exciting research activity taking place at Carnegie Mellon.

Information Security Magazine spotlights Carnegie Mellon CyLab, its research, and its innovation: "It's a think tank addressing tomorrow's information security concerns, a brainy conglomerate set against the brawny landscape that is the city of Pittsburgh."
