Carnegie Mellon Earns Top World Ranking in Technology

Carnegie Mellon placed 6th in the world for studies in engineering and IT by the 2008 rankings of Times Higher Education - Quacquarelli Symonds (THE - QS). Overall, Carnegie Mellon ranked 21st among the world's universities. The THE - QS rankings have established themselves as a benchmark of quality over its four years and allow for comparison of educational institutions at an international level.
