Ceremony Honors
the Fourth Graduating Class in Athens

June 7, 2007 - On June 11, the INI celebrates the fourth graduating class from the Master of Science in Information Networking (MSIN) program in Athens, Greece. A bagpiper will lead the procession of graduates into the commencement ceremony, where students will receive their Carnegie Mellon diplomas.

The Athens MSIN Class of 2007 is made up of thirteen students from five countries: Bulgaria, Iran, Greece, Lebanon, and Nigeria. A select few students will receive awards for special achievements.

The INI offers the Athens MSIN program in collaboration with Athens Information Technology (AIT). Dr. Pradeep Khosla, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Dena Haritos Tsamitis, Director of the INI, will preside over the ceremony. Christos Halkias, Dean of AIT, and Socrates Kokkalis, founder of AIT and Intracom, will address the students. Kostas Mallios, from Microsoft Corporation, is the keynote speaker.
