International Conference Accepts Work of INI Students

December 27, 2007

Student Hirokazu Sasamoto (Kobe MSIT-IS, Class of 2008, pictured at left) and alumnus Eiji Hayashi (Kobe MSIT-IS, Class of 2007) received acceptance of "Undercover: Authentication Usable in Front of Prying Eyes" as a full paper at the 2008 ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI 2008). The paper derived directly from Sasamoto's master's project, which was conducted under the joint supervision of Hayashi and INI faculty member Dr. Nicolas Christin.

A top academic conference in human-computer interaction, CHI 2008 received submissions from research groups worldwide and accepted only 22 percent of submissions. The conference takes place in Florence, Italy in April 2008.
