Carnegie Mellon Earns High Rankings in 2007

In the annual survey of universities nationwide by the U.S. News and World Report, Carnegie Mellon ranked among America's top ten destinations for graduate programs in computer science (1), engineering (8) and public policy (8).

For specific fields of graduate study, Carnegie Mellon ranked number one for programming languages in the area of computer science, as well as for information and technology management in the area of public policy. As an integral department of the College of Engineering and a collaboration of the School of Computer Science, the Tepper School of Business, and the Heinz School of Public Policy and Management, the INI’s professional graduate degree programs are well represented in these rankings.
