Team from CyLab Japan Wins Prize in IT Incident Handling Contest

May 31, 2006 - A team of students from the Master of Science in Information Technology - Information Security (MSIT-IS) program at Carnegie Mellon CyLab Japan recently won a most outstanding information security incident handling prize at the Shirahama Computer Crime Symposium 2006. The symposium was held from May 25-27, 2006 in Shirahama, Japan.

A total of five teams from four different universities competed to see who could best handle various security incidents under different scenarios. The most outstanding information security incident handling prizes were awarded to two universities: Carnegie Mellon CyLab Japan and Doshisya University.
