AmesYuki Izena-Vandapel
Game Animator and Illustrator

Yuki is an important part of the game team that works to develop Carnegie Cadets: The MySecureCyberspace Game. Her responsibilities entail animating the game's characters and creating the game environment. Additionally, she develops mini-games for the Carnegie Cyber Academy Web site that supplement the learning objectives of the MySecureCyberspace initiative.

As a native of Japan, Yuki lends assistance to the INI's global programs by translating some Japanese documents. Her greatest strengths, however, are in drawing and animating characters, designing games, and 3D modeling.

As an undergraduate, Yuki studied art. She later earned a Master of Entertainment Technology from the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon.

INI & CMU Favorites

"My favorite memory is of attending the INI commencement in 2007. I have attended several commencements at Carnegie Mellon, including my own, but the INI’s event was one of the best ceremonies. It was beautiful, magnificent and unforgettable."
