Staff Member: Administrative Support

TerriTerri Weinberg
Administrative Coordinator for Business Operations

Terri is typically among the staff members whom the INI students meet first and see most often. As receptionist, she manages the front desk at the INI building, which involves handling phone calls, visitors, and the coming and going of packages. She provides essential support to the business manager, faculty and staff.

Terri coordinates the schedule of the first floor conference room and keeps tabs on office supplies, including business cards.

Importantly, Terri keeps a watchful eye over the INI building. She knows the building policies and helps to ensure that students have a safe, quiet and productive work environment.

Terri has been at Carnegie Mellon for over eleven years. She joined the INI after five years at Carnegie Mellon's Chemistry Department.

INI Interests

"At the INI, people all want to work together. I have seen more teamwork during my time here than I have in all my forty years in the workforce. "

INI & CMU Favorites

"I love the parties, especially the ones where I have been able to really relax and dance."

Recommendations to Students

"Just get through the first year. It's tough, but it's well worth it. When you get to your second year, you'll be glad you did it."
