Sponsors, students, alumni, and friends are invited to a special event at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) Silicon Valley next month: Practicum Showcase & Alumni Networking Reception!

Information Networking Institute (INI) master's students have innovated in the wild this semester through practicum projects sponsored by tech companies, startups, and government agencies. At this event, INI students will showcase their practicum work in computing, mobile systems and security through dynamic presentations and project exhibits.

It's a great way to learn more about practicum sponsorship opportunities and network with current INI students, alumni, and industry sponsors. 

When: Thursday, December 7 from 5:00-8:00 PM

  • 5:00-5:15 PM: Registration

  • 5:15-5:50 PM: Welcome Remarks and Sponsor Introductions

  • 6:00-8:00 PM: Poster Sessions, Networking Reception and Hors d'oeuvres/Drinks  

INI Alumni: Feel free to stop by at any time during this event, even if just to say hello!

* All visitors must pass through a security gate to reach the campus. A valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID card, passport) is required. When presenting your ID, let them know you are going to Carnegie Mellon.
