Don't Struggle Like I Did (DSLID) is back!

- What: DSLID "Crash Course"

- Where: INI building – MSIN/MSIS session will be on student floor and MSIT session will be in the Winthrop Level Conference Room

Come to the DSLID session on Tuesday, April 18th to hear what some of your classmates and seniors have to say. This is also a great time to talk to your seniors and ask any questions that you guys have about upcoming courses and semesters. MSIT students get to talk to their MSIT counterparts in the silicon valley.

For those of you who haven’t been to a DSLID (Don't Struggle Like I Did) session, it is a program unique to the INI that was developed by Marcus Smith, an MS22 student. They are very informal sessions that give you the opportunity for sharing the knowledge on how to succeed at CMU.

  • Several MS27s who are eager to share their experiences and answer questions

  • MSIT students have this unique opportunity to have an online video conference with their MSIT counterparts in Silicon Valley.
  • A few of our outstanding faculty and staff, sharing tips and giving their own perspective on the "INI experience”

  • Free food for everyone

This will be a great opportunity for you to talk to your peers, mentors, and advisers about how to manage your time, deal with stress, and whatever else you are struggling with.

Even if you don’t feel comfortable sharing, you can still come and hear what others have to say! This is an opportunity for confidential, earnest conversation with people who have been through the same thing and your peers who are currently going through it.

GoINI loves you!
