Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Activities

Time: January 20, 2014 - 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Location: University Center, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh

All members of the university and surrounding community are invited to participate in the variety of programs and events intended to stimulate discussion and reflection about the contributions of Dr. King.

In recognition of Dr. King and to foster engagement from all sectors of the campus community, the university will cancel classes scheduled after 12:30 p.m. on January 20 (all colleges, all courses; including evening classes). In addition to the keynote address and candlelight vigil, which began in 1991, the program has expanded over the years to include a series of discussions, films, service projects, children's programs and exhibits.
