Rahul Kapoor is a senior research engineer at Bosch, Research and Technology Center, in Pittsburgh.  He is a member of the Software Engineering group.

The INI Seminar takes place every Friday, 2:30 - 3:50 p.m., at the Distributed Education Classroom at the Collaborative Innovation Center (DEC@CIC).

Speaker: Rahul Kapoor

Talk Abstract: Rahul's research focuses on various software engineering topics, including software architecture, software component technologies, middleware and software security for systems that include real-time embedded systems. He has several years of experience applying the software engineering concepts to the various automotive domains. He is currently leading the activities in the area of "internet of things and services" at Bosch, wherein his team is developing use cases, business models and technologies for future systems in areas like security technologies, telemedicine and energy management.

Speaker Bio: Rahul Kapoor graduated with an M.S. degree in Information Networking (MSIN) from Carnegie Mellon University in 2004. His current responsibility at Bosch is that of a project manager for the topic "Internet of things and services."
