Aveiro MSIN

Aveiro, the town, is the center for telecommunications in Portugal. It's not only the university that has a strong faculty in telecommunications but we have also the companies.
Francisco Vaz, Vice-rector, University of Aveiro

The INI offers the Master of Science in Information Networking program in Aveiro, Portugal (Aveiro MSIN) in partnership with the University of Aveiro and Instituto de Telecomunicações.

Modeled after the Pittsburgh MSIN program, the Aveiro MSIN gives students a solid foundation in information technology and introduces students to management, strategic thinking and policy, with the opportunity to study each of these areas in greater depth through electives. MSIN students are well positioned to pursue leadership, technical, and management positions in a variety of sectors and industries.

Coursework takes place at the University of Aveiro and uses a hybrid distributed education format that combines locally taught courses with courses taught from Carnegie Mellon via video-conferencing technologies.
