Aveiro MSIN

The INI conducts the Master of Science in Information Networking program in Aveiro, Portugal (Aveiro MSIN) in partnership with the University of Aveiro and Instituto de Telecomunicações. The last class to be admitted to the Aveiro MSIN enrolled in fall of 2009, and program admission is closed.

Modeled after the Pittsburgh MSIN program, the Aveiro MSIN gives students a solid foundation in information technology and introduces students to management, strategic thinking and policy, with the opportunity to study each of these areas in greater depth through electives. MSIN students are well positioned to pursue leadership, technical and management positions in a variety of sectors and industries.

Coursework takes place at the University of Aveiro and uses a hybrid distributed education format that combines locally taught courses with courses taught from Carnegie Mellon via video-conferencing technologies.
