In 16 to 20 months, the INI graduate programs equip individuals with a background and interest in technology with the management and strategic thinking skills necessary to assume entrepreneurial and leadership positions in the areas of information networking, information security, mobility and software management.
Digital forensics certification is offered through a Cyber Forensics and Incident Response Track within the Pittsburgh MSIN and Pittsburgh MSISTM programs. This track is for students with an interest in computer security training to investigate and retrieve digital evidence for law enforcement and government agencies.

ExecMSIA: Designed for mid to senior level professionals, the ExecMSIA offers the opportunity to gain a mastery of information assurance and expertise that may be applied to c-level careers. The program offers a concentration in cyber forensics and incident response or resilience management. A new offering, the ExecMSIA will admit its first cohort in fall 2012.
Pittsburgh–Silicon Valley MSIT Programs (MSIT-MOB, MSIT-IS, MSIT-SM): As unique bicoastal programs offering three areas of specialization, the MSIT programs blend technology, management and industry experience to prepare students to become intelligent decision-makers in the field of information technology.
The global MSIT program offered is the Kobe MSIT-IS, a dual-degree program offered in partnership with the University of Hyogo in Kobe, Japan.
Pittsburgh MSIN: The MSIN gives students a solid foundation in information networking and introduces students to management, strategic thinking and policy, with the opportunity to study each of these areas in greater depth through electives. A Cyber Forensics and Incident Response Track is offered.
Pittsburgh MSISTM: Offered exclusively at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, the MSISTM program is ideally suited to students who want to assume leadership positions in the information security arena. A Cyber Forensics and Incident Response Track is offered.
The MSISTM and Pittsburgh-Silicon Valley MSIT-IS programs meet the criteria for the federal government's Scholarship for Service Program (SFS).
