The Information Networking Institute (INI) was established by Carnegie Mellon University in 1989 as the nation’s first research and education center devoted to Information Networking. As a cooperative endeavor of:

Library Resources

Carnegie Mellon Library System

INI students use the Carnegie Mellon libraries to access course materials and other resources relevant to their program of study.

The main libraries include:

  • Hunt Library (main campus)
  • Engineering and Science Library (Wean Hall)
  • Mellon Institute Library (off campus)
  • Hunt Botanical Library (in Hunt)
  • Software Engineering Institute Library (off campus)
