Health Insurance

Carnegie Mellon requires all students to carry valid health insurance while attending programs at the univeristy. You do not have to purchase insurance through the university if your own policy provides coverage while you are pursuing your studies in Pittsburgh. However, students without insurance, or with insurance that does not cover them while they attend school, will need to purchase health insurance through the university.
