INI Privacy Policy

The Information Networking Institute (INI) is committed to preserving your privacy. This privacy policy tells you exactly what information we collect from you when you visit our site and how we use it.

This policy may be modified as new features are added to the site. Any changes to the policy will be posted on this page. If you have any questions about our policy, please contact us at ini@cmu.edu.

Information Logged

When you visit the INI site our server logs your IP address, the URLs you access and the time and date you visit the site. This information is used solely for system administration purposes and to analyze site usage. It is not used to personally identify users.

Cookies

The INI site does not use cookies to track your movement through the site or to collect any personal information about you. The one exception to this is in the online application, where we use a cookie for authentication purposes. This cookie does not store any user information.

Personal information

On our online application form we ask users for personal information. This information is used solely for admissions purposes and is only accessible by our Admissions Committee.

Some online forms on our site ask you to submit personal information so that we may send you information about the INI and our programs. This information is used solely for INI purposes and is not distributed or sold to any third parties. If you wish to be removed from our mailing list, contact us at ini@cmu.edu.
